About Matthew Bliss

Thank You for viewing my photos! All my life I have been interested in photography. I was always the one who  gathered and organized the family photo albums. However, it was not until 2007 that I finally bought my first DSLR in an attempt to make photography a serious hobby.

Most of my work consists of sports, but I also have a collection of outdoor and nature photography. If I would have to define my style it would most certainly be "concentrated action". Although I enjoy using a wide angle lens to get a sense of place while shooting sports and nature, a long lens lets me get in tight to capture the important details like a facial expression when a basketball player drives to the basket.

If you attend any of the Kent State Sporting Events you will most likely (or have seen me) on the sidelines, sitting on the court, or walking around the field with my gear. If you see me let me know what you think of the website and the photos.
